The data foundation behind mission-critical public services.
Great analytics and AI are only as good as the data beneath them. For over a decade, Rplus has designed, built and run the petabyte-scale data platforms UK central government depends on — from an 800 TB national data services platform to a 650 TB enterprise data hub. We bring that engineering-first discipline to every data estate: get the foundation right, and insight, AI and trust follow.
Three disciplines, one foundation.
Most engagements draw on all three — a platform is architected and built, insight and AI are layered on top, and governance holds it all to account.
Built from discovery, still running.
Data sat across more than 240 separate source systems, alongside legacy systems and obsolete data warehouses spread over two data centres. Divisions across the department each needed their own analytics services, and there was no shared platform to build them on.
Rplus built the Data Services Platform from the discovery phase in 2017 — a multi-tenancy big data platform now holding more than 200 TB from over 250 datasets, with three tenants running on it under strict segregation. We still support it today.
